New Rurouni Kenshin ~ New Kyoto Arc licensed for domestic release.

Sentai Filmworks, a.k.a. People who used to be known as ADV, has licensed the new Rurouni Kenshin ~ New Kyoto Arc films for U.S. release sometime next year. It will be released digitally first then on bilingual blue-ray and DVD. I'm looking forward to seeing how they pull together a dub cast as the original Kenshin TV series had different voice actors from the OAVs and film. If there are returning cast members it will most likely be the ones from the OAV and film due to Sentai Filmwork's connections with the former ADV.

Rurouni Kenshin Live Action Movie 3minute TV Teaser

Check out this video with new footage of the upcoming RuroKen live action movie. Some great scenes such as a look as the fight between Kenshin and Saitou. Can't wait till this movie is out! (Even though I won't get to see it until the DVD/BD release. >.>)

New Rurouni Kenshin News - Anime & Manga!

Both of the upcoming Mangas, Rurouni Kenshin -Cinema-ban & "Chapter Zero" are due to premeir in Shonen Jump Alpha for American Audiences. Very awesome to see these translated and coming to America very soon.

Also, the second part of the New Rurouni Kenshin - Kyoto Arc Part 2 will premier June 23rd in Japanese Theaters, and is slated for DVD/BluRay on August 22nd.

Hopefully we'll be able to snag a copy of the first RuroKen anime movie this AX!

Anime Expo 2012 Shopping List!

   AnimeExpo 2012 is just a few months away. Tickets are bought and hotel is reserved and now to keep saving as much money as possible to be able to go this year. With close friends dropping out of going this year, it looks like this will be the year of Kaji & Yopo. With this in mind, we won't have as much money as we've had in previous years. 2012 is the year of the budget, so I kept that in mind while working on my hunting list for this year.
