This year's 33rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has announced that the Dragon Ball Manga has gotten a new anime film project greenlit. According to this website, http://shonenjump.com/j/countdown/, we should expect a surprise sometime Saturday.
The news seems to imply that it will be manga related, so most likely it will either be a re:telling of one of the stories we already know or it will be something new such as the "Goku and His Friends Return" special. I wouldn't mind seeing more post-Buu stuff. Even a movie with a generic villian would be fine. Hell, who'd like to see a movie based of manga cannon featuring Broly post Buu? Rumors are also saying that it will be sometime around the Buu arc featuring Goten & Trunks. Either way, it's great to hear that we'll be seeing something new soon!

Look's like the good ol' boys from Kanzenshuu have info today with a picture that may give us a better idea of what this new film will be about.
